April 2005

Sorry for the lack of posts. I’ve got a couple of things in the works, but have been kind of busy with work (I produce segments for a cable TV show called Attack of the Show! here in LA).

After installing Tiger, I realized that Fink is now a little broken. Not good, especially when I’m using Fink to compile GIMPshop. So that’s why GIMPshop’s been delayed slightly. UPDATE: apparently Fink DOES work in Tiger.

I was at work late on Friday helping to get the Attack of the Show’s BBS downloads working. You’ll be glad to know that they are now working (thanks to Kevin Pereira’s BBS knowledge and my Google skillz). I can search Google better than anyone I’ve ever met. I’m not bragging. It’s true! I will kick your ass at Google search. I’m hoping that one day Google searching will become an Olympic event so I can prove my superior Google skills to the entire world. (insert maniacal laughter here)

Anyway, the exclusive AOTBBS! downloads are working. Check out the Door Games, too! There’s some good ones there.

You’ll need TELIX or Hyper Terminal AND you’ll need an analog phone line. Either that, or dust off your Commodore 64.

Give the Attack of the BBS! a call: 310-979-2699
Toll charges may apply outside of Los Angeles.

GIMPshop Updates

April 4, 2005

First, a quick disclaimer that I am not a programmer by any stretch.
I actually performed the equivalent of a lobotomy on the Gimp’s source code, but I will rehack the Gimp to make it cleaner and ultimately easier to update once a newer version of the Gimp released. I was not aware that there is [...]
